CAMFT’s 51st Annual Conference to Be Held May 2015

Dr. Jorge Galindo, a licensed therapist experienced in assisting law enforcement with court-referred cases, has treated adolescents, adults, and families from his private practice in Irvine, California, since 2000. An involved professional, Dr. Jorge Galindo maintains membership in the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), a nonprofit trade group that works to advance the therapy profession through various programs and activities focused on research, advocacy, and education.

In an effort to help its more than 30,000 members improve their knowledge and skills, CAMFT offers a number of professional development opportunities and holds a variety of educational events throughout the year. Currently, the organization is preparing to host its 51st Annual Conference, which will take place on May 14-17, 2015, at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront in Burlingame, California.

The four-day event will explore the theme of “Bridging the Art and Science of Healing” and will feature several prominent speakers, including neuropsychologist and best-selling author Rick Hanson, PhD, who will deliver the conference’s opening keynote address. In addition, the latest therapy products and services will be showcased at the event’s exhibit hall, which will be open May 14-16.
